I am an independent researcher and writer, and currently the executive producer of FreshEd Flux. My research interests include a range of disciplines from critical theory/philosophy to cultural anthropology, and from cultural geography to art history/criticism.
I have written five books, mostly with others, on topics including socio-cultural studies of education and globalisation and contemporary Australian art: David Noonan: before and now (Thames & Hudson 2004), Haunting the Knowledge Economy (Routledge 2006), Globalizing the Research Imagination (Routledge 2009), In the Realm of the Senses: social aesthetics and the sensory dynamics of privilege (Springer 2015) and Class Choreographies: elite schools and globalisation (Palgrave Macmillan 2017).
I have also published essays and written short stories and poetry.
I enjoy watching films and I am an avid reader of fiction.
